Coworking firm WanderLoft opening new location in former Source Mall

 

 

In early 2019, coworking operator WanderLoft plans to lease about 11,000 square feet for a new location within the former Source Mall site in Westbury.

Lesso Mall Development is a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based China Lesso Group Holdings Ltd., a maker and seller of home building materials. In 2017, the company purchased the mall for $92 million with a $25 million renovation in mind. When it opens, the Lesso retail space and will be geared towards designers, renovators, and other building professionals.

WanderLoft’s managing director Tiffany Choi says the company recognizes how saturated the coworking market is, therefore the space will offer more than standard coworking space amenities. Along with conference spaces, the office will have a communal photo studio, a materials library for designers, and more.

Instant Group, a coworking space research company, found that coworking operators are steadily developing more centers that are tailored for specific clients.
